Glimpse Side Table

Glimpse

Glimpse is a side table designed for use beside seating units. The form of Glimpse is a reflection of an organic shape divided into small sections, joining an organic outline with a minimalist design. The table is made of wood and tempered glass. The wooden parts are produced with a CNC router, and silicone dots are attached to the wooden parts to stop the tempered glass from slipping. The glass has a concave slope that allows easy access from a sitting position on a sofa. The glass can be flipped, so the table can be placed on either side of the seating.

Wood usually discarded by furniture makers is used for its challenges to work with. The knots, the cracks, the wind shakes and the unique swirls tell the story of the tree's life.
