Modern Chinese

Inspired by traditional Chinese armchair and Marcel Breuers's No. B33 chair, the Modern Chinese armchair seeks to disrupt the world of furniture design. By utilizing the CNC process technique, this chair is able to preserve the look of a traditional Chinese armchair but overcome the typical construction process, where wood pieces had to be connected through woodworking joints. Instead of the usual angular shape, the modern armchair possess a fluid and seamless form, mimicking the artistry and beauty of calligraphy strokes.

Coral

Made entirely of aluminum, Coral radiators were designed with a Form Finding approach that, using parametric modeling, allows the search for new geometric expressions. The goal was to define radiating elements with an extremely extended perimeter, to generate a high thermal output and propose a distinctive aesthetic. Coral electric radiators can be controlled with the dedicated management app that allows to set times and days of ignition, heating speed and temperature. Coral, an example of how the evolution of man through technology is resolved in the forms of nature.

Magic

The Magic Lamp's form is inspired by the form of the mushroom Psilocybe semilanceata, a species of fungus with a distinctive conical to bell-shaped cap that produces psychoactive compounds, otherwise known as the Magic Mushroom. The pearl white shade is 3D printed with a plant based plastic. As the light shines through it, the spiralling concentric lines created by the layering of material in the printing process are highlighted. Underneath the head are mushroom like gills, also 3D printed. The combination of materials, and it's natural form, stand out as the main features of this design.
