Memoria

"Memoria" is a furniture project created by Sergio Sesmero for his Final Project of the Official University Degree in Product Design of ESNE. A proposal based on sustainability, functionality and the creation of new sensorial experiences, by the usage of concrete fabric as the main material, which is generally used in civil constructions that is characterized by its high durability, resistance and sustainability. The project arises from a deep study of the changes that are taking place in society, and how these are are affecting the forms of consumption.

Parachute

When listening to Coldplay's first album, it suddenly occurred to the designer to look up the word parachute. It seems that the name parachute comes combining the Italian parare (to protect) with the French chute (to fall). Yusuke Watanabe thought that was a rather fine name. Yusuke Watanabe tried to think of devices that protect against falling. When in use, the plank for the section being used falls, and hangs there. Their coat, their magazine and more this protects them from falling. The sight of looking down on their parachute from up above is rather pleasing, too.

Stanley 2701

Stanley 2701 has simple, clean lines, a monolithic architecture inspired by the mysterious black monolith in Stanley Kubrick's film 2001: A Space Odyssey. It has been designed with particular attention to its unique geometry, which allows for direct downlighting and indirect side lighting. Environmentally friendly, the suspension is made from recyclable aluminum. When switched on, soft, gradated lines of light appear on the side surfaces. Off it offers a beautiful play of light and shadow throughout the day. The Stanley lamps can be used alone or in groups.

Coral

Made entirely of aluminum, Coral radiators were designed with a Form Finding approach that, using parametric modeling, allows the search for new geometric expressions. The goal was to define radiating elements with an extremely extended perimeter, to generate a high thermal output and propose a distinctive aesthetic. Coral electric radiators can be controlled with the dedicated management app that allows to set times and days of ignition, heating speed and temperature. Coral, an example of how the evolution of man through technology is resolved in the forms of nature.

Over

Over is a flowing and systematic collection to live with comfort and personality the daily rituals. The new furnishing system is designed to offer large flexibility on the project with many solutions and with the integrated elements in the composition like tops, mirrors, glove compartment and accessories. Over collection is available in a wide range of colors and finishes so that everybody can customize his own bathroom. The undoubted success of Over can be traced to the ability to synthesize simplicity and research in precious objects.

This tea machine delivers a simplistic and convenient tea-making solution to users. This equipment provides the unique and professional tea-making experience at home and office. This machine simulates the compact size, traditional design and gentle outline of ancient Chinese blue tile windows. The hollowed-out shape leaves a sense of retro feeling and perfectly connects the function of the machine and the visual language.
